The Fall Seed Grant 2024 initiative on Pitt-Hopkins syndrome is now open. The initiative aims to fund seed research projects through:
- a single- or bi- center call, for 24-month proposals with a maximum budget of € 100.000, focusing on Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome.
For this call, Fondazione Telethon established a collaboration agreement with the Associazione Italiana Sindrome di Pitt-Hopkins – Insieme di Più Patients Association.
The call will allow generating data and creating new knowledge to pave the road for the development of new therapeutic approaches for the Pitt-Hopkins syndrome.
Investigators - working either in public or private Italian non-profit research Institutions, including the Telethon Institutes - are eligible regardless of their funding status with Fondazione Telethon ETS.
Applicants can apply and submit only one project within the Fall Seed Grant 2024 initiative, as Lead Applicant (or as Partner).

Deadlines
- September 20th, 2024: call opening
- by October 11th, 2024 applicants should:
- login or register on the TETRA portal
- insert the title of the project
- fill in the Type of Research section, providing the disease name and code, research type and research step
Filling in these data by October 11th, 2024 is not mandatory.
- November 28th, 2024, at 11 am: project submission deadline.
